The starting and the finish lines of the marathon are in Piazza Matteotti, but exploring Desenzano del Garda means to dedicate time to discover all its treasures. How many know that Desenzano keeps in its centre an ancient Roman villa dating I century B.C.?

Inside the cathedral dedicated to Santa Maria Maddalena you can admire the frescoes by Andrea Celesti and Gian Battista Tiepolo.

When you go to the info point before the Colnago race, you can notice the palace and the arcades under which our volunteers welcome you and give you all the information required…here there was an ancient “granary”, beacuse, for centuries, the most important corn market in Lombardy took place in Piazza Malvezzi.

But Desenzano is also beautiful beaches as Desenzanino, the Spiaggia d’Oro and the Beach of Rivoltella, is nightlife, is pleasure of the palate and relax.

The journey through the courses of our Festival is just at the beginning .
