Just two months from the CCF21, the organization has already activated to plan the Colnago Cycling Festival 2022, which in April will blow its first 10 candles!
As already announced, the CCF22 will return in April, 1-2-3 April 2022, and there will be surprises as at every edition! Given the success of 2021, the events of the Festival will again be dedicated to families. On April 2nd you can choose to participate in the Family Bike, a 15km ride open to all those who want to spend an afternoon with family and friends; then there will be the return of the Junior Bike for children; Finally, two cycling routes led by great cycling world champions!
But the real news 2022 is for our granfondisti! The event that will take place on April 3rd will not be a simple granfondo, but the GRANFONDO 2.0.
What do it provide?
With GRANFONDO 2.0 you can decide which challenge to take in choosing between two options: the Classic challenge and the Crono challenge. The Classic challenge provides that, as every year, the athlete decides to face one of the two competitive routes (Granfondo or Mediofondo) and that the race is timed from start to finish.
Instead, with the Crono challenge, the participant can choose between the two competitive routes (Granfondo or Mediofondo) but the timing will be carried out exclusively on the climbs (2 climbs, as regards the long route; 2 climbs, as regards the average route).
You will have to choose, when registering, the challenge to participate, Classic or Crono, and on the day of the Granfondo you will decide whether to make the route Medium or Long. The departures of the two challenges will be separated, two numbering and two different rankings will be created.
Finally, another new of this tenth edition is the new technical leader who will be inside your race package! A limited edition X-BIONIC cycling shirt, made of Dryarn fabric, exclusively for the Colnago Cycling Festival 2022 event.
