Paolo Savoldelli promotes Granfondo long route! 

The most exciting weekend of the season is getting closer: there are only a few weeks that divide us from the Colnago Cycling Festival 2019.

On February 14th there was the official test of GF Colnago long route, the main event of this three days that will animate Lake Garda from 5 to 7 April 2019!

And a really exceptional tester jumped on pedals for us on this day, Falco Paolo Savoldelli.

The twice champion of Giro d’Italia left from Desenzano del Garda port, starting point of Granfondo on April 7th, and he followed the long route, admiring its beauties and testing its novelties. Here is Paolo’s opinion on this new track: «Surely this is the most beautiful route in GF Colnago history. I’ve never seen any of the places we’ve been through today, and I have to say that they were an enchanting discovery. Cycling on Lake Garda and in its hinterland is always beautiful, you cross surprising places: the places touched by the new route are confirm this, we can glimpse truly spectacular views, to be left breathless. But in addition to the remarkable panorama, it is important to underline the fact that the organizers, attentive to the fact that it is a race at the beginning of the season, have studied a route that remains interesting and at the same time suitable for all legs, with climbs and a decent difference in height.»

Therefore, we can say that this undulating path, surrounded by hills, lake and mountains, has been promoted with honors by Paolo Savoldelli. After this test the organizers can work at full throttle to the last details of the event, as has been confirmed by the Falcon, it is not only the Granfondo, but a three days full of initiatives for all tastes and for all ages, which you can find out about the program published on our website.
