Today Colnago Cycling Festival 3rd edition colored Desenzano del Garda (BS) since early morning.

At 8.00 am about 500 cyclists set off to discover the beauties of Garda Lake participating in Randoneè Garda Lake Tour. 145 km with a total height difference of 520 m for the short course and 205 km with a total difference in height of 2,100 m for the long track. The cycling experience has been kissed by the sun and gave the participants from around the world the opportunity to admire the most attractive areas of the territory.

So many people have visited during the day the exhibition area that tomorrow will see a boom in attendance with 10,000 people expected between cyclists and their families.

In the afternoon space to kids with the Baby Bike 6th edition, which was held in the splendid setting of the Golden Beach. Over 200 children enjoyed riding their small bikes, learning to “ride” and appreciating the values of sport.

In the evening there will be a Gala Dinner with local authorities, with the Mayor of Desenzano del Garda Rosa Leso and the Councillor for Economic Development Valentino Righetti, and many guests, including former professionals, sports stars and other VIPs who love two wheels and Colnago brand.

After this full day tomorrow the program is going to rich is peak wit the Garda Legenddedicated to historical bikes and especially with the Gran Fondo whose 3.000 bibs have gone sold out. Three new tracks have been designed for the occasion: 159 km and 2044 meters in altitude for the queen race, the Gran Fondo; 110 km and 1384 meters in altitude for the medium lenght and 77 kilometers and 940 meters for the short route.

We can find more than 20 nations and 15 Italian regions in the starting list for an event every year even more international. As wanted by Cavalier Ernesto Colnago, Colnago Cycling Festival is not limited to competition but aims to promote cycling in an area that is becoming the two wheels Paradise.
