Gran Fondo Colnago Desenzano del Garda has exceeded two thousand subscribers. The event scheduled for May 17th is increasingly international with the addition of South Africa in the list of participating nations.
The second grid is almost completed, proof of how the event is appreciated. Who wants to start in a privileged position has to hurry up: there are only a few places available.
Registrations for the Granfondo are possible, at the cost of 35 € until April 16 (from April 17 to May 9, at the cost of 40 € until all of the bibs will be sold out), through the website www.mysdam.it or by following the instructions at this page.
Colnago Cycling Festival is not only competition, but a veritable fete that will color Desenzano del Garda (BS) from May 15th. From the Expo area opening with the most prestigious names in the world of two wheels to Desenzano del Garda Cycling White Night Festival, passing through a number of initiatives, such as the “Baby Bike” for kids and Randonnée “Tour of Garda Lake” on Saturday and the “Family Bike” or “Garda Legend” reserved to vintage bikes on Sunday.
The sporting event is the perfect opportunity for bike lovers to spend a short holiday on Garda Lake area exploiting the many attractions and enjoying the spring weather. Foreign riders should not miss the opportunity to visit the nearby Sirmione, Salò, Limone, Peschiera but also, a little further away, the romantic Verona, Brescia and of course Venice. Rustic, contemporary and elegant restaurants are waiting you to sample the delights of The Lake and our wonderful region.
For fun, we recommend parks like Gardaland, Movie Studios & Water Studios, Sea Life, Parco Natura Viva, Jungle Adventure Park and the beautiful botanical garden Sigurtà Park to be visited by guests of all ages.
