NOTICE

Please note that once you have registered, your application will be checked and you will be added to the race list within 7 working days.

 

PERSONALIZED BIB NUMBER WITH NAME 

All those who register by 20 February 2021 will have their race bibs personalized with their name and surname. After this date, it will no longer be possible for anyone to cancel or be replaced.

 

REPLACEMENT OR CANCELLATION

Participant replacements or cancellations will only be accepted by 20 February 2021, by paying a fee of 10.00 Euro for secretarial costs.

 

ELIGIBILITY AND PARTICIPATION

Obligation to have a medical certificate for cycling races or UCI card.

All foreigner athletes must have a medical certificate for competitive cycling events or download it from the link above. This module has to be printed and signed by a doctor and you have to UPLOAD it on your personal profile on ENDU.

The Medical Certification HAS TO BE for cycling activity!

Medical Certifications for the practice of triathlon activity or others will not be accepted.

BIB NUMBERS

Your bib number must be displayed on your bike and on your back in a VISIBLE manner and NOT ALTERED in any way. The number must not be rolled up. Participants whose number is not visible will be disqualified at the incontestable judgement of the Jury and the Organising Committee.

Debutants (18 years of age), Junior (19/29), Senior 1 (30/34), Senior 2 (35/39), Veterans 1 (40/44), Veterans 2 (45/49), Gentlemen 1 (50/54), Gentlemen 2 (55/59), Super Gentlemen A (60/64), Super Gentlemen B (65 and over), Junior Women (18), Women A (19/39) and Women B (40 and over).

             

AWARDS

The first 3 finishers in the Overall category for the Granfondo/Marathon and Mediofondo/Medium Marathon (awards presented on arrival)

The first 5 finishers in every category for the Granfondo/Marathon and Mediofondo/Medium Marathon courses

The first 10 societies on the basis of the number of participants

(awards for these categories and societies presented after 2.00 pm)

The classification for the Overall category will be based on the order of arrival. The classification for the other categories will be real-time based.

 

OTHER INFORMATIONS

ELECTRIC BICYCLES

You may take part using electric bikes. This must be stated in the registration form. All electric bike participants will have a personalised race bib and will be in Grid 3. There is no race classification for electric bike participants.

                 

RACE TIMES AND CALCULATION

The times for drawing up the classifications will be ‘shotgun’ (based on the order of arrival) for grid numbers 1-800. For all the other grids, the timing will be REAL TIME. For all participants, the race time calculation starts precisely when you pass the start line.
N.B.: If you do not step on the start and finishing line blocks, your race time cannot be calculated and you will not be in the final classification. The classification for the Overall category will be based on the order of arrival. The classification for the other categories will be real-time based.

CHIP

MYSDAM PERSONAL CHIPS:

A-Chip is a personal chip, owned by the athlete.

The qualification is the procedure that makes an A-Chip usable in Granfondo Colnago.

CHIP PURCHASE COST: 15 EUROS INCLUDING QUALIFICATION.

ONLY QUALIFICATION: 10 EUROS ON THE RACE FIELD

The owner of the A-Chip must then carry out the authorization procedure before using the chip in the race and must bring with him the authorization receipt, valid as proof of purchase.

The authorization receipt, once enabled the chip, can be downloaded from the personal panel “Your Chip” .

The YellowChip MyLaps is a personal chip, owned by the athlete.

Unlike the Green A-Chip, the YellowChip has an international value.

This means that the owner can use it on events timed with MyLaps technology all over the world (even in Italy) without authorization.

The Yellow Chip is always round.

YELLOW CHIP COST: 30 EURO ON THE RACE COURSE (IT MUST NEVER BE ENABLED).

THE CHIP CAN ‘BE RENTED ON THE RACE COURSE AT THE CHIP POINT, AT A COST OF 5 +5 (5 EURO RENTAL COST +5 EURO DEPOSIT WHICH WILL BE RETURNED AT THE END OF THE RACE)

ATTENTION: THE CHIP WILL HAVE TO BE RETURNED AT THE END OF THE RACE.

Wear the MySdam chips

THE CHIPS MUST BE ATTACHED TO THE FRONT WHEEL HUB OR THE FORK.

IF THE CHIP IS NOT MOUNTED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE FORK, IT WILL NOT BE DETECTED AND THEREFORE WILL NOT BE IN THE RANKING.

 

MECHANICAL AND HEALTHCARE ASSISTANCE

Free mechanical assistance all along the courses (you have to pay the mechanics themselves for spare parts). Healthcare assistance for all participants. If you withdraw from the race, wait for the rescue van or inform the race assistants along the courses that you have withdrawn.  If you behind the set timetable, assistance is not guaranteed. All the race assistants along the courses have access to all the numbers and contacts required for all kinds of assistance.

 

RULES OF THE ROAD

Safety information for participants and those accompanying them. Participants must comply with the rules of the road and all other rules commonly referred to as “ordinary prudence” throughout the event and for the entirety of all the races, from start to finish.

Please note that the event takes place on roads open to traffic and that any weather conditions may prevail on the days of the event. The organisers decline all responsibility for any accidents involving participants and those accompanying them which should occur before, during and after the event.

For anything not covered by these regulations, the ACSI CICLISMO (Italian Sports Centre Cycling Association) standards regulating cycling apply.

By paying the registration fee, you automatically accept the Regulations.

All participants must wear approved full-size cycling helmets.

N.B.: Please note that the event known as Colnago Cycling Festival is not a competitive event but a tourist cycling gathering.

 

CHANGES

The Organisers reserve the right to make changes to the Regulations and the Courses at any time.

Note: if the Event should be cancelled for reasons of force majeure which are beyond the control of the Organisers, the Organising Committee reserves the right to withhold the registration fees paid.
